Mom's Italian Dressing

Mildly sweet, delightfully herby and perfectly zesty, Mom's Italian Dressing is the perfect dressing for your next salad or marinade!

Equipment

  • 2 Mason Jars or bottles, bowls or even sealed containers

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Granulated White Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 tbsp Dried Parsley
  • ¼ tsp Celery Salt
  • 2 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • ¼ Cup White Vinegar*
  • Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil*
  • 2 tbsp Water*

Instructions

  • *Please note, only 2 tbsp of dry mix is needed to prepare a bottle of dressing. Values for oil, vinegar and water are to be combined with ONLY 2 tbsp of dried mix.
  • Combine all DRY ingredients in a jar, bowl or container. Mix together with a whisk, or seal a container and shake. This is your Dry Mix, which will be used to prepare Mom's Italian Dressing. There are 4 servings of dry mix. You can store this dry mix in a sealed container in your pantry for up to 12 months.
  • To prepare the dressing, measure 2 tbsp of the Dry Mix into a separate jar or bottle.
  • Add ¼ Cup White Vinegar, ⅔ Cup Extra Virgin Olive and 2 tbsp Water to the jar or bottle. Whisk or shake to combine.
